Dr. Laurie McNamara McClatchey, a native of Ann Arbor, is thrilled to continue her professional journey in her hometown. Like many of our patients, Dr. Laurie attended King and Angell Elementary Schools, Tappan Middle School, and Ann Arbor Huron High School. She spent four years at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, before returning to The University of Michigan for dental school, followed by a three-year orthodontics residency.

Teaching and Contributions
Dr. Laurie is heavily involved in the academic field, serving as an adjunct clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan. She supervises the clinical care provided by orthodontic residents and directs two didactic courses, teaching advanced orthodontic techniques to both dental students and graduate residents. Additionally, she has presented at the annual sessions of the American Association of Orthodontists and other national and international conferences.
Personal Life
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Laurie and her husband, Stephen, are parents to two children, Sophia and Alex. She enjoys being involved in their school as a booster club board member, supporting their athletic and musical activities, reading, running, and spending time with her two French Bulldogs, Wilbur and Copper.
